Postini™ Blocks Spam and Viruses – Before They Reach Your Network

Postini's comprehensive email security services protect your email system from spam, viruses and other email-borne attacks – before they reach your network. Unlike solutions that provide security at the network gateway or on the desktop, Postini extends protection beyond the server to the Internet. Customers gain an added layer of protection and extended security capabilities, securing both the SMTP connection and message content.

Zippo provides each user with a Message Center where your spam and viruses are filtered and quarantined. Your legitimate email messages are delivered to your email inbox, just as they always have, but junk and virus-infected email is routed to your Message Center - not to your inbox.

How It Works

• Your email passes through the Postini® automated filters that detect suspected junk email and viruses.

• Suspicious email is directed to your personal, web-based, password-protected Message Center.  Suspicious emails are quarantined here and never even make it to your inbox.

• Your Message Center allows you to read quarantined email, delete it, or deliver (forward) it to your inbox.

• Postini® allows you to "block" senders, meaning email from them will always be filtered.  Or you can "approve" senders, meaning their email will always be delivered.

When your service is activated you will be sent explicit instructions on how to access your Message Center and how to get the most out of your junk email and virus protection.

If your already a client just login to your client center and select "My Products and Services" and then choose the product you wish to upgrade. On the far right of the listing click on the "" then at the bottom of that page you will see "Account Add-ons - Click to view available add-ons".
