Support Policy
Notice And Procedure For Remote Support Services
Zippo Hosting customers are required to read and understand our
Remote Service policies. Failure to read or understand these
policies prior, during or after the Remote Support session does
not null the following policy.
- Zippo Hosting will attempt to diagnosis your technology problems, provide
repair of such problems or provide you with a technology solution over the telephone or via the
internet. In certain cases, however, problem diagnosis and support may not
be completed because of a problem with your computer or its configuration
that is beyond our control.
- Remote support services may be offered to you over the telephone or via the
internet if your operating system is supported (Microsoft Windows 98SE or
newer) and you have a working high speed Internet connection. If you elect
to receive remote support, you authorize Zippo Hosting to connect to your
PC via the your high-speed internet connection to view your computer
desktop. Zippo Hosting technical staff will stay in contact with you via
chat or phone to keep you informed during every step of the process unless
otherwise instructed by yourself or Zippo Hosting. Remote support may involve the
installation of software on your computer that will allow Zippo Hosting to provide the remote support services. By electing to receive remote
support, you agree to allow Zippo Hosting to use whatever tools deemed
necessary to repair your computer, including remote access. You understand
that if remote access is used on your computer there will be no residual
software from the remote session; however, there may be a text file placed
on your computer that will explain the work that was done on your computer.
If such a text file is placed on your computer, you have the option to
either save the file for future reference or to delete it from your
computer. You will also have an option to allow our remote software to
remain on your computer to allow for future support sessions which you can
disable or uninstall at your leisure.
- Online software purchases may be offered to you by Zippo
Hosting. If you
elect to receive software demand services, you are electing to purchase
software downloads. In such event, Zippo Hosting may transfer you to a
third party who will provide you with information about the software and who
will collect your payment information. Zippo Hosting transfers you, at
your request, to the third party for your convenience; however, We do not
warrant or make any representation about the services or software provided
by the third party. Ask about the third party’s privacy policy as it is
different from the privacy policy that applies to the Zippo Hosting collection and use of your personal information. Also ask about the
service and software warranty applicable to the software download you
receive from the third party as that warranty differs from any that Zippo
Hosting may provide.
- You understand and agree that prior to contacting or allowing Zippo
Hosting to perform diagnostic repair or other services on your computer, it
is your responsibility to back-up the data, software, information or other
files stored on your computer disks and/or drives. You acknowledge and agree
that Zippo Hosting shall not be responsible under any circumstance for
any loss or corruption of data and/or software. You also understand that
during the removal of certain issues on your computer that your computer may
become inoperable in such a manner that we will not be able to continue on a
remote basis. This is due to the nature of some problems and we can only
attempt to resolve issues that we have access to by a remote connection.
Limitations to Service
- Zippo Hosting reserves the right to refrain
from providing any or all requested remote services and
instead refund your payment, wholly or in part, on the
basis that your technical needs or requirements are
unusual or extensive any beyond the scope of this
service agreement as determined by Zippo Hosting.
- FORCE MAJEURE: If Zippo Hosting's ability to render remote services is
impaired by you or circumstances beyond the control of Zippo Hosting, Zippo
Hosting may choose not to provide or to discontinue remote services.
- LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: To the extent permitted by law, you agree
that Zippo Hosting’s total liability for damages related to its remote services is
limited to the total amount you pay for the remote services, and you
release Zippo Hosting from liability for any indirect, incidental,
special, or consequential damages. Zippo Hosting IS NOT LIABLE FOR LOSS,
ALTERATION, OR CORRUPTION OF ANY DATA OR FOR YOUR INABILITY TO USE YOUR
COMPUTER EQUIPMENT OR OTHER PRODUCT.
Service Warranty

If you are not satisfied with remote services received from Zippo
Hosting, please contact us below for resolution. We warrant our remote
services for 5 days following the date you received remote service; however,
for repairs necessitated by a virus or spyware, the service warranty is
valid only if the anti-virus and anti-spyware protection for your product is
installed or updated during the repair or promptly thereafter (i.e., before
you connect again to the internet). If there is a problem with the service
provided by Zippo Hosting and if you notify us within the warranty
period, we will work to remedy your problem quickly and at no additional
cost.

Dispute Resolution
Any dispute between Zippo Hosting and a subscriber shall be determined by
arbitration conducted by the American Arbitration Association pursuant to its
commercial arbitration rules. The arbitrator shall decide any dispute in
accordance with Nevada Law, without the application of choice of law
principles. Each party shall bear its own expenses and legal fees for the
arbitration. The arbitration shall be conducted in Carson City, Nevada,
unless both parties agree in writing to a different location. The arbitration
award is enforceable as a judgment of any court having proper jurisdiction. |
 Automatic Server Backups
Our servers are automatically backed up
daily, which allows each user to log in and
restore files from any given date. We keep a
repository of over 100 restore points going back
many months on servers in two locations. |
 Spam Filtering We offer
REAL time spam & virus filtering to ensure you
only get the mail you want by setting your own
rules and viewing each box's quarantine. |
